GENEVA CO., AL (WSFA) - The Geneva County Sheriff's Office has released a sketch drawing of one of the suspects in a violent home invasion that sent the homeowners to the hospital.

In the description of the sketch, authorities say the suspect is between 6' and 6'2" and between 215 to 230 pounds.

The case began after two Geneva County residents had to be taken to the hospital following a violent home invasion on March 16. It occurred at a home on Steven Ferry Rd, off of highway 87, around 7:30 p.m.

The elderly couple, who lived at the residence, were reportedly assaulted and robbed during the home invasion.

Last week, the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, or suspects, was increased to $12,000.
