PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - A single-vehicle accident on Interstate-65 northbound near exit 186, which is the Pine Level exit, claimed the life of a Fort Payne man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Ronald Bradshaw, 67, was killed around 1:25 p.m. on Saturday when the 2003 Ford Explorer he was driving overturned at the 186 mile marker, one mile north of Prattville.

A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 65-year-old Kaye Bradshaw, was injured in the wreck and was transported to UAB with serious injuries, according to State Troopers.

The accident shut down both lanes of I-65 NB for over an hour as crews worked to clear the wreckage.
