PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - "The best way to stop crime is to prevent it from happening." That could be the motto of car dealership Pigg Enterprises in Prattville.

According to officials, on Monday April 4th a male entered the business allegedly to scope out where the keys were kept for the cars on the lot. After the business closed he came back. To his dismay however, the keys had been moved to a secure location.

In the surveillance video the suspect can be heard cursing the business for being smart and moving the key board.

Lt. Ray Wagner of the Prattville Police Department says Pigg Enterprises' crime prevention practices probably prevented their dealership from losing multiple vehicles to these thieves."

Now investigators are searching for the suspect and a female driver who is thought to be the getaway driver. Both were seen arriving in a two door Honda Accord.

If you can help police catch these would be burglars call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
