CHILTON CO., AL (WSFA) - A traffic stop Sunday in Green County didn't end just with the discovery of 187 lbs. of marijuana. Investigators were set on nabbing the person it was destined for in Chilton County.
Agents with the 17th Circuit Drug Task Force and Jemison Police worked together on the traffic stop, then set up a controlled delivery to the undisclosed business in Chilton County it was originally en route to.
Chilton County Sheriff John Shearon said once the drugs, being shipped in large packages, arrived at the business, they arrest of Kowosky Christian.
Christian, a local resident, is charged with trafficking marijuana and was taken to the Chilton County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
There were three other males that were arrested in conjunction with the case. They were charged in Greene County by Drug Task Force agents.
