No injuries reported after boat catches fire on Lake Martin

LAKE MARTIN, AL (WSFA) - Five people and a dog were able to jump to safety after a boat caught fire on Lake Martin on Sunday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA says the Marine Patrol Division responded to a call of a vessel fire around 2 p.m. near river channel at Bay Pines Island.
The vessel, a 2006 Correct Craft, was a complete loss and was towed from the scene. All occupants of the boat, including a dog, were able to jump into the water and were picked up by a nearby boat.
No one was injured as a result of the fire.
