MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A guilty verdict was handed down by a jury on Tuesday to a man who broke into a Montgomery home in 2015 and robbed a woman at gunpoint in front of two children, an according to Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey.
Hector Carranza, 24, was found guilty of first degree robbery and first degree burglary in connection to the home invasion that occurred on Nov. 10, 2015.
According to Bailey, Carranza broke into the victim's residence on Sugar Pine Drive and robbed her at gunpoint. The victim was home with two children at the time of the home invasion.
Carranza will be sentenced on Aug. 8.
