MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said an additional charge has been filed against a Montgomery man who allegedly shot at a motorist while driving along Interstate 85 Sunday.

Morris A. Lottinger, 54, was initially charged with driving under the influence. ALEA said an additional charge of reckless endangerment has been added against.
Alabama State Trooper Sgt. Steve Jarrett said a call came in around 3:45 p.m. about a suspect in a white Chevrolet Suburban, armed with a handgun, who fired shots at another motorist on I-85 in Macon County. The motorist/caller followed the suspect until a trooper was able to make contact with him off I-85 in Montgomery.
Lottinger was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he was charged with the DUI. Troopers said Lottinger was later transported to the Macon County Jail on the reckless endangerment charge.
An investigation is ongoing. Findings will be turned over to the Macon County District Attorney.
