Woman charged in dealership theft case arrested again

GREENVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Hope Gibson Langston, who was arrested earlier this week for theft, has been arrested again according to officials with the Greenville Police Department.

According to Capt. Justin Lovvorn in addition to the first-degree theft charge, Langston is also being charged with criminal trespassing in the third-degree.

Capt. Lovvorn says Thursday morning officers were called to the Greenville Motor Company by an employee who stated that Langston was on the property. When officers arrived they found Langston at the side entrance of the building. She told them she was trying to get inside the building to retrieve some of her property.

During Langston's initial arrest, investigators explained to her on multiple occasions that she was not to return to the property or to contact those associated with the business. Because of this, Langston was taken into custody by officers on Thursday.

A bond hearing was held and Langston was given a conditional bond of $3,000.
