MONTGOMERY CO., AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers identified the victim killed in a Montgomery County single-vehicle crash early Monday morning as 36-year-old Oxford resident Jamison Christopher Crawford.

Crawford was driving a 2016 Nissan Maxima along U.S. Highway 231 near Trotman Road when the car left the roadway. That's about six miles outside Montgomery.

Investigators said the car struck a guardrail before overturning in a creek around 4:20 a.m.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
