A McKenzie man has been arrested and charged with multiple drug crimes following a traffic stop Monday in Covington County.
River Falls Police Chief Greg Jackson, along with drug task force agents, made the stop for speeding on Alabama 55. During the stop, officers noticed the smell of burned marijuana in the truck.
Following a search of the vehicle, investigators found passenger Octavius Terrell Mobley had marijuana.
While patting the man down before putting him in a patrol vehicle, investigators found 115 grams of synthetic marijuana, which resulted in a drug trafficking charge.
Mobley is being held on a bond of $277,500.
