Weather Blog: Another solid Fall weekend

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A series of subtle reinforcing shots of cooler air will help keep our weekend looking & feeling like Fall is supposed to. Overall, our weather pattern remains remarkably quiet across Alabama. The hunt for rain continues...

VETERANS DAY: After a brisk start to the morning where a few cities experienced their first freeze, we're warming up quickly under filtered sunshine. Parade-goers will enjoy a pleasant forecast as temperatures climb through the 60s into the 70s by afternoon.

That will be a roughly 40-degree temperature rise from morning through afternoon. Not bad.

Friday Night Fever playoff games will be seasonably cool and comfortable with no threat for rain.

A dry cold front passes through roughly around midnight...with no notice taken.

THIS WEEKEND: No more freezing nights this weekend, but daytime highs will take a hit behind the front. Highs Saturday get to roughly 70, but likely struggle to get out of the 60s Sunday under sunny skies.

Another 7-day forecast that is missing a key element...rain.
