Identity released of pedestrian struck and killed on I-65 Wednesday morning
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department has released the name of the pedestrian who was killed in a crash on Interstate 65 Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified Wednesday afternoon as Tyrone Jordan, 36, of Montgomery.
According to MPD, the investigation indicates Jordan was in the lane of travel on I-65 near West South Boulevard when a 2010 Jeep Cherokee hit him. The crash happened around 4:15 a.m.
Jordan was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the Jeep wasn't injured.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the crash.
