Chilton County Sheriff's Department searches for escaped inmate

CHILTON CO., AL (WSFA) - The Chilton County Sheriff's Department is urging people to be on the look out for an escaped inmate.
The sheriff's department is searching for Jeremy Wade Littleton. Littleton is described as having brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5-foot-7 and 136 lbs.
According to the sheriff's department's website, Littleton was last seen in blue hospital scrubs and a white T-shirt at Shelby Baptist Hospital, and he was able to evade law enforcement by sneaking out of his hospital room's bathroom.
Anyone with information on Littleton's whereabouts should contact the Chilton County Sheriff's Office at 205-755-4698.
