FRISCO CITY, AL (WSFA) - A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone who has information leading to an arrest and conviction in relation to a gun theft that took place Thursday.
The theft took place at Owens Hardware on Bowden Street in Frisco City, where nine guns were reported stolen to the Frisco City Police Department.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are offering a $2,500 reward for useful information, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation is matching that amount.
The financial incentive is part of a larger, national initiative to help solve cases involving gun theft from federally-licensed gun dealers.
