EUFAULA, AL (WSFA) - The Eufaula Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying several armed individuals captured on surveillance video during a shooting on Saturday.

According to police, the shooting happened just before midnight at the Citgo Station on Eufaula Avenue. Investigators say a large crowd could be seen gathering when about 20 to 30 shots were fired.

At least three armed suspects were captured on video and two have been identified. Police say warrants have been obtained for those suspects' arrest.

Officials urge the public if you recognize any of the individuals seen in the videos to contact police or convince the suspects to turn themselves in.

"This behavior should not be tolerated in a civilized society and we cannot emphasize enough to the other persons attending this gathering how much your lives were jeopardized," according to a post on the Eufaula Police Department Facebook page. "We have contacted other local, State and Federal Agencies regarding this incident and those individuals responsible for this melee will be located. It is incomprehensible that anyone can find this behavior acceptable, and while this was an impromptu and isolated incident, any future disregard for society displayed in this manner will be immediately dealt with, swiftly and harshly."

If you have information regarding the shooting or the individuals seen in the surveillance videos, please call the police department at 334-687-1200.
