MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Humane Society would love if you would donate the black and white prints of your newspaper to their shelter.
MHS officials say it would help in lining the puppy cages which they change several times a day. It takes a lot of newspaper to get the job done because cages use 10, 20, 30 double pages, depending on the size of the cage.
Save your ads for shopping or coupon clipping, officials say. The shelter only uses the black and white pages and encourages you to recycle the ads.
You can drop off donations Monday through Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 1150 John Overton Drive, located right behind Gunter AFB.
