MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The parole hearing for O.J. Simpson will impact WSFA 12 News programming Thursday. The parole hearing, which started at noon, was expected to last 15 to 20 minutes but is ongoing. WSFA 12 News at Noon will not air.
The board is also expected to deliberate less than an hour to make a decision. NBC News expects to have a second special report later in the afternoon once a decision is reached.
Days of Our Lives will air in its entirety. However, due to the special report, its start time is being pushed back. It is possible that the second special report could come during Days of Our Lives. If that happens, we will pause Days of Our Lives and resume it after the breaking news coverage has ended.
The show will air in its entirety, it just may be interrupted.
We will have full coverage of Simpson's parole hearing on-air, online and on our mobile app.
