MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A woman has been charged with chemical endangerment of a child after she and her newborn baby tested positive for opiates at the time of delivery, according to court documents.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, Ashley Nola, 31, was charged following an investigation that began July 28. MPD says an infant tested positive for a controlled substance and Nola was identified as the suspect.
