SELMA, AL (WSFA) - Two of the four people charged with murdering a Selma basketball star appeared in court Wednesday.
During the preliminary hearing for 16-year-old Markel Collins, the judge found there is enough evidence to send the case to a grand jury. Collins is being held without bond.
Also in court Wednesday was 19-year-old Mitchell Williams.
"He got an appointed attorney and so that case will be reset," explained District Attorney Michael Jackson. "The judge will go through the attorney list and get him some attorneys and that case will be reset for a preliminary hearing."
Two others face charges in the murder of 17-year-old Chris Lee.
Investigators say the shooting was an act of revenge between gangs but there is no evidence Lee was ever part of either gang.
