Troy woman arrested, charged with Montgomery bank robbery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A 41-year-old Troy woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree robbery after a bank robbery Thursday morning in Montgomery.

Trasite Jackson was arrested shortly after a 9:15 a.m. heist at a bank in the 2800 block of the Eastern Boulevard.

A BBVA Compass Bank branch is located in the area of the robbery.

Jackson didn't make it far after the robbery. She was arrested on the scene by Montgomery detectives and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility. She is being held without bond due to another charge for probation violation.

There were no injuries in the robbery.
