DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - Batteries help create a charge, or in this case dozens of charges for two Dothan theft suspects.
Tierney Tranieye English and Derek Dewayne Moore are facing at least 56 counts each of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle. That's 112 counts so far and investigators say "additional cases are likely" as the investigation continues.
The arrests follow two months of investigations that have spanned multiple cases.
English, 23, and Moore, 27, are accused of targeting parked vehicles at automotive repair shops, stealing the batteries.
Bond has been set at $5,000 on each count, or $280,000 for each suspect.
