Flooding reported in several areas, flash flood warning continues

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for portions of Autauga, Elmore, Montgomery and Pike counties until 11:15 p.m.

According to the Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency, the following areas are experiencing flooding:

  • Noremac Dr./Loch Haven Dr.
  • 479 Forest Park
  • 3400-3600 block of Atlanta Highway
  • Coliseum Blvd/Atlanta Highway
  • Bainbride St./High St.
  • 2700 W. Gunter Park Dr.
  • Greenridge/Forest Park Dr.
  • 1800 Charles Ave
  • 621 Eastern Blvd
  • Coliseum Blvd/Northern Blvd
  • Hall St./Victor Tulane
  • 8700 Plantation Way

There is also a tree down at 731 7th St., according to the Montgomery County EMA.

According to the Pike County Emergency Management Agency, the following areas are experiencing flooding:

  • Spradley Road (barricaded)
  • Parts of Elba Highway
  • George Wallace Drive
  • County Road 3304
  • West Madison
  • Trojan Way
  • Sanders Road
  • Elm Street
  • Academy Street
  • Smith Hall at Troy University
  • Forest Circle
  • County Road 1107
  • U.S. 87

County Road 3319 at Whitewater Creek was closed earlier this evening. It has been reopened, but the Pike County EMA advises caution.

According to the Elmore County EMA, the following areas are experiencing flooding:

  • Pine Leaf Drive in Millbrook (road closed)
