Victim in Montgomery homicide investigation identified

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department has identified the victim in a fatal shooting Friday night.

According to Captain Regina Duckett, officers found Vantrell Flynn, 32, in the 7000 block of Taylor Crossing at around 6 p.m with a serious gunshot wound. He was taken to Baptist Medical Center South for treatment, where he was later pronounced dead.

MPD's investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute between Flynn and someone he knew. No arrests have been made at this time.
