DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - A man already in jail on two home invasion charges involving sexual assault allegations is now charged with a February homicide.

Quaderius Ramon Robinson, 23, of Dothan is currently in Kilby State Correctional Facility, serving time for two charges of home invasion, which happened on June 19. The charges involved sexual assault allegations, with elements similar to what happened to 30-year-old Alicia Kelly four months before.

On Feb. 12, officers with the Dothan Police Department found Kelly dead inside her apartment on Johnson Circle, after responding to a report of a person not breathing. Investigators noted ligature marks around her neck, and an autopsy report died as a result of strangulation.

Police collected evidence, and based on DNA profiles, investigators developed Robinson as a suspect. He was interviewed by investigators, and, based on his statement and the evidence, he was charged with murder.

Police are asking that if anyone has any additional information in this homicide to call the Dothan Police Department at 334-615-3000 or CrimeStoppers at 334-793-7000.
