Man charged with making terrorist threats in Houston County

HOUSTON CO., AL (WSFA) - The Houston County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man for allegedly making terrorist threats, according to Sheriff Donald J, Valenza.

According to Valenza, Randy Ray Phillips, 58, of Taylor, Alabama, has been arrested and charged with making terrorist threats. Valenza said the sheriff's office responded to a report of a person making terrorist threats in the 1600 block of Ross Clark Circle in Dothan on Jan. 3.

It wasn't until Jan. 4 that Phillips was arrested.

Phillips has been placed in the Houston County Jail with no bond.
