MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A woman was injured in a Thursday evening shooting in Montgomery.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to the shooting in the 3600 block of Vaughn Road. At the scene, they found a woman suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

An investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an altercation. There have been no arrests.
