MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - PLEASANT WEATHER: We expect more of the same tonight and tomorrow - some clear, some clouds and one or two isolated showers or storms. If it rains on you, it will be brief; for many, it's simply dry. We'll drop into the mid 50s tonight, with highs tomorrow warming into the mid 70s.

NEXT SYSTEM: An upper trough swings overhead late Wednesday night into Thursday, bringing a cluster of showers and thunderstorms along for the ride. In fact, multiple waves of showers and storms are likely.

A few of these storms could be strong, but we do not anticipate widespread or significant severe weather. Of course, every system in April should be watched, and this one is no exception. We'll keep a close eye on the data...

PERFECT WEEKEND AHEAD: The rain tapers off no later than Friday morning, sunshine returns into the afternoon. Perfect Spring weather is ahead for the weekend, with sunny, warm days and clear, cool nights. Afternoon highs Saturday and Sunday will warm into the upper 70s to lower 80s. No rain, no storms, no problems. Enjoy!

The weather will be great at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend, too. Expect 70s in the day and 50s at night.
