Student charged after threatening video posted to social media

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery police say a juvenile student is facing charges after a video threatening a high school circulated on social media Wednesday.
According to Department of Public Safety spokesperson Martha Earnhardt, the female student was taken into custody Wednesday evening after a threatening video was posted to Facebook.
Several concerned individuals sent a video to WSFA 12 News of a student threatening to cause harm at Jeff Davis High School Thursday morning.
The student, who has not been identified, was charged with making terroristic threats. She has been transported to the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Facility, Earnhardt says.
