Selma man killed in motorcycle crash Sunday morning

LOWNDES COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - A Selma man is dead after a two vehicle crash in Lowndes County Sunday morning.
According to Alabama State Troopers, the crash happened at 1:30 a.m. on U.S. 80, near the 117 mile marker, about seven miles west of Hayneville. Roger Phillip Young Jr., 37, was killed when his 2015 Suzuki motorcycle hit a 2003 Hyundai Sonata. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.
Troopers continue to investigate.
