Selma police search for 'armed and dangerous' homicide suspects
SELMA, AL (WSFA) - The Selma Police Department has identified two suspects in a weekend homicide and have warned they are at large, armed, and dangerous.
Selma detectives have determined that 30-year-old Jimmie Lee Tyus and 20-year-old Jeffery James Bennett Jr. are the suspect in a shooting that left one man dead and two others injured early Saturday morning. Ernest Weaver Daniels III, 26, was shot and killed as a result of an altercation between several individuals, according to authorities.
Police Chief Spencer Collier says Matravius Aaron, 20, of Selma, and Marquavius Benjamin, 19, of Selma, were also shot.
