ALEXANDER CITY, AL (WSFA) - A PSA produced by high school students at Benjamin Russell High School in Alex City is making its rounds on social media.

With over 1,000 views on YouTube, the video, which you can watch here, shows a group of high school students at a party before prom.

"We're having like a pre-game party before we go to our prom pictures," Hannah Henderson, the actor who plays the drunk driver in the video, said.

"I decide to go drive anyways to pictures," Henderson said.

But, they never get the chance to take those pictures. In the video, Henderson crashes with an oncoming car, killing her prom date and a passenger in the other car.

"We pull up and cause an accident with another group of our friends that were on the way there," Henderson said.

Henderson is one of the two who survives the crash.

"After that, it's me going to jail, and getting booked and having to do a breathalyzer test and things like that and it was really surreal," Henderson said.

The video ends with the words "Think Before You Drink," the title of the PSA.

Gracie Kelley, a senior at Benjamin Russell High School, helped produce the video.

"We're not saying don't drink which you necessarily shouldn't do. Ours is just think before you drink. So, if you are going to drink at prom, that's your business, but just think before you do it. Think about what you're doing afterwards, who's driving, things like that, think," Kelley said.
