Teen, juvenile arrested and charged with burglary of Troy high school

TROY, AL (WSFA) - A teen and a juvenile are in custody in Troy after police say they burglarized a high school.

Quoannazji Jamal Shykeim Smith, 18, of Troy and an unnamed juvenile were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary according to the Troy Police Department. Smith and the juvenile were identified as suspects after investigation and a warrant was then obtained for Smith and a petition was signed for the juvenile.

Police say there was a report Tuesday of a burglary at the field house at Charles Henderson High School around 6:45 p.m. Lockers were reportedly broken into and ten different victims reported items stolen or damaged.

Smith was placed in the Pike County Jail under a 2,500 bond. The juvenile was placed in the Pike County juvenile detention center.
