Rabies clinics to be held at Montgomery County schools this weekend

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - Over the next two Saturdays, citizens can get their pets vaccinated for rabies at 12 different schools in Montgomery County. The clinics come after two people were bitten by a rabid raccoon last month and had to be treated.

Vaccines are $12 and will be available at the following locations:

  • Carver High School
  • Catoma Elementary School
  • Chisholm Elementary
  • Jefferson Davis High School
  • Dunbar-Ramer School
  • Flowers Elementary
  • Garrett Elementary
  • Georgia Washington Middle School
  • Pintlala Elementary
  • Robert E. Lee High School
  • Vaughn Road Elementary
  • Wares Ferry Road Elementary

The clinics will be open from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. this Saturday and May 19.
