Montgomery robbery suspect out on bond for another robbery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A Montgomery man, who was out on bond for a March robbery, is being charged for a robbery that took place in December 2017.

Juanderrius Keontae Riley is charged with robbery first degree.

According to court documents, the December robbery took place around 10:20 a.m. in the 1400 block of Ripley Street.  The victim told police she was approached by a man who had a handgun and demanded money from her. The victim says the suspect took about $600.

Riley was later identified to be the suspect in this case, documents indicate.

Police took Riley into custody on Friday. Documents show at the time of his arrest he was out on bond for robbery charges related to an incident that took place in March.

Riley was transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility under a $60,000 bond.
