AUTAUGA CO., AL (WSFA) - George Walthall, Jr., a longtime Prattville attorney and former municipal judge, was arrested on criminal charges Friday.
Agents of the Alabama Attorney Generals Investigative Division, Autauga County Sheriff's Office, Montgomery Police Department, Prattville Police Department and State Bureau of Investigation Agents with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency executed multiple search warrants against Walthall in Autauga County.
Walthall was taken into custody by Autauga County Sheriff's deputies on charges of first-degree receiving stolen property, a class B felony with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Walthall was arrested at his Prattville home and booked in the Autauga Metro Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Investigators have not released any other information because the investigation is ongoing.
