ANDALUSIA, AL (WSFA) - Andalusia High School is in the process of finding a new basketball coach after head coach Anthony Clark wasn't renewed for next school year.

Superintendent Ted Watson confirmed the Andalusia school board voted at Monday's board meeting not to renew Clark for next year.

There was no discussion at the meeting about the reason for the decision. Watson also said state law prevented him from discussing the reason.

Clark coached the bulldogs for two seasons and took the team to the state 4A semifinals in his second season.

The superintendent said the district is moving quickly to fill the position as soon as possible.
