MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A Montgomery man has been convicted of murder for a shooting death at a barber shop in 2015.

District Attorney Daryl Bailey announced the conviction of Ozzy Osborne, 27, by a Montgomery County Jury on Thursday. The verdict stems from a Sept. 11, 2015 shooting at a barber shop off of Lower Wetumpka Road. Osborne shot 30-year-old Rodrekas Zeigler once in the neck.

Witnesses testified Osborne attacked Zeigler as he was entering the shop.

Osborne will be sentenced on June 12, though the state requested he be placed in custody following the verdict. He is facing 20 years to life in prison.
