Man recovering after Sunday shooting in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A man is recovering after a shooting in Montgomery near Monticello Sunday.
According to Sgt. Williams, the shooting happened in the area of the 6000 block of Monticello Drive. When officers and medics arrived at the scene they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
No other information has been released at this time. Police are continuing to investigate.
