MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - He ordered a pizza, pulled a gun, and left the pie on the counter as he sprinted out the door with the register's cash, security video showed of a Montgomery armed robbery suspect.

Montgomery police and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers stayed hot on the suspect's trail and have since served him with an arrest warrant.

The suspect, whom court documents identify as Devonte Kevon Thompson, of Montgomery, is accused of robbing the Little Caesars pizza shop on McGehee Road just before 11 p.m. on May 26.

Security video showed the suspect appearing to pay for the pizza, then pulling a handgun to rob the business. There were no injuries reported.

Court documents indicate the suspect fled with approximately $200.

Thompson was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he was charged with first-degree robbery. Bond was set at $60,000.
