A vacant house caught fire in Bullock County Sunday night.

The Union Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze on Bullock County Road 31 at around 8 p.m. The home had been vacant for several years. Firefighters allowed the house to burn but kept it contained the entire time.

There is no word yet on what started the blaze, but no one was injured in the fire.
