PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Central Alabama Community College announced Wednesday it will be relocating its Millbrook campus to Prattville.

According to CACC, the institutional site will be relocating from Stanhope Elmore High School, where it has been housed since 2015, to Pratt's Mill Center. The center is located across from Long-Lewis Ford on Fairview Avenue.

Dr. Susan Burrow President of CACC expressed appreciation to the City of Millbrook and the Elmore County School System for providing the initial site to establish instruction for the area.

"The cities of Millbrook and Prattville, along with the Elmore and Autauga County Commissions, worked collaboratively to aid CACC in locating a new site where opportunities could be expanded," Burrow said.

In anticipation of the workforce needs of the surrounding communities, CACC will offer existing for-credit and non-credit programs, including basic support for health-related careers, advanced manufacturing, transportation and logistics, information technology, and coursework leading to academic transfer in STEM-related fields.

The site expects to begin classes in Prattville for the fall semester.
