1 dead, several others injured in Montgomery County 2-vehicle crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - Troopers worked a two-vehicle crash Thursday that resulted in one man's death, and several other injuries, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Cpl. Jess Thornton said Lucius Calvin Corley, 85, of Brantley, died as a result of a crash that happened around 7:20 a.m. The crash was at the intersection of U.S. 231 and Trotman Road between Corley's Ford F-150 and a Chevrolet Trailblazer.
A passenger in Corley's vehicle as well as two passengers in the other vehicle suffered injuries.
Corley was taken to Baptist South Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The crash site is located roughly five miles south of Montgomery.
