MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - After 3 long, hot days across central and south Alabama, Heat Advisories that we initially issued early this week will continue through tomorrow.

Highs each afternoon this week have climbed into the 90s, and Thursday's forecast is no different. Highs will likely make their way into the mid 90s, but it will easily much hotter than that! Heat index values (AKA the "feels like" temperature) will high and exceed 100° for most towns in our area.

Scattered thunderstorms will start to pop-up on radar during the peak heating hours of our afternoon; this rain will cool off those in their path, but not everyone will showers.

Warm temperatures and scattered showers will continue into the weekend.
