3 indicted on felony murder, assault charges in Dallas County

DALLAS COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - Three people have been indicted on several charges by a Dallas County jury.

According to Dallas County District Attorney, Marquavious Billingsley, Marquavious Benjamin and Aiesha Franklin have been indicted on felony murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and second-degree assault charges.

Jackson said all three are involved in the June 18 killing of Kenvranesha Rayford.

Billingsley also has an attempted murder charge stemming from another incident on June 18. According to court documents, Benjamin fired "at least 10 rounds" at Zechariah Brown while he was in his yard at his home in the 200 block of Dedman Street in Selma. Brown was hit in the leg and had to be taken to the emergency room.

The bonds of Billingsley, Benjamin and Franklin have been set at $1 million each for the death of Rayford.
