ELMORE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Elmore County Sheriff's Office is looking for an identity theft suspect.
The sheriff's office released photos of the unknown woman. On Tuesday, four vehicles were broken into at the Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Deatsville, and several purses containing victims' driver's licenses, debit/credit cards and check books.
Investigators say the suspect has cashed or attempted to cash several of the checks at MAX Credit Union, First Community Bank, Guardian Bank and Synovus Bank in the River Region.
The suspect was last seen driving a red or maroon passenger car, possibly a Nissan Versa with an Alabama Wildlife tag "B1SKT."
