BUTLER COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers were on scene at a 10-vehicle wreck in Butler County Monday night. Traffic is now clear after Interstate 65 northbound was just down for about three hours.

The crash was at the 138 mile marker. A photo from Shilo Groover with WBRC in Birmingham showed the crash, with a Lifeguard ambulance involved.

Leslie Coleman, the PR Coordinator for Lifeguard Ambulance, said one of their ambulances was transporting a patient "non-emergently" on 65 north when the wreck occurred. There were 2 EMT, 1 paramedic, and 1 patient on board. All were transported to local emergency rooms with non life threatening injuries.

Troopers say there were seven people with non-life threatening. They are investigating the cause of the crash.
