MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Two more have been arrested for a June quadruple shooting in Montgomery.
Christopher Ballard, 25, and Marquis Hart, 27, are each charged with one count of attempted murder, one count of assault first degree, two counts of assault second degree and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle or dwelling.
Court documents say the shooting took place June 11 in the 4600 block of Virginia Loop Road around 6:10 p.m. Four people were injured, including one person who was shot six times. Documents also indicate two vehicles and a building sustained damage during the shooting.
According to Capt. Regina Duckett, an initial investigation indicated that four victims were inside a vehicle when they were shot by suspects in a second vehicle. The shooting stemmed from a verbal altercation between the groups.
Hart was taken into custody on June 14 and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
Ballard was taken into custody Thursday and transported to the Montgomery Detention Facility under a $165,000 bond.
Officers previously arrested Stacey Coleman 29, on June 12.
