Hot and dry Thursday ahead

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Highs today were in the mid 90s area-wide, and heat index values were in the triple digits. Central and south Alabama saw very little rain, so many of us felt no relief from the heat. Tomorrow will be no different.

Highs will warm to the mid 90s once again tomorrow afternoon with heat index values 100°-105°. There's only a 20% chance of rain, so most of us will stay dry and hot. Remember to seek shade and stay hydrated!

Heading into next week, rain chances slowly increase and temperatures slowly decrease.
