Sunday will start hot, end stormy

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Sunday will almost be a carbon copy of Saturday. Temperatures will warm to the 90s but feel above 100° in many places. Isolated showers are possible early, then scattered to numerous downpours and storms will develop in the afternoon. Wherever it rains, the air will likely cool to the 70s and 80s.
Rain chances stay elevated through next week. Temperatures will be in the low 90s with heat index values in the mid to upper 90s.
