Underwear thief sought by sheriff's office, CrimeStoppers

WETUMPKA, AL (WSFA) - Central Alabama CrimeStoppers and the Elmore County Sheriff's Office are briefing the public with several security photos in hopes of identifying a woman who stole hundreds of dollars worth of underwear.

The alleged suspect is a woman with a large, distinctive tattoo on her lower back. The woman appears to be in her early to mid-30s, according to police, and is between 5'4" and 5'8" tall and approximately 220 pounds.

The theft of underwear and other merchandise happened at the Dollar General store on Redland Road in Wetumpka.

Once out the door, the woman made a clean getaway in a white Kia SUV with a Montgomery County license plate.

Anyone with information on where to find this suspect is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP. Your tip may lead to a cash reward.
